PROGRAM MANAGER

Pete Baines

Wynnum & Districts Chamber of Commerce is a highly-regarded organisation, experienced in the delivery of Small Business Advisory and Training Services. Manager, Pete Baines has extensive experience at running Chamber of Commerce operations and consulting to small business, having been an advisor to Regional Chambers as far back as the late 1990's. In 2009 he developed and managed a very successful Small Business Advisory Service which was partially funded by the Australian Government.

He has extensive experience at designing, implementing marketing and managing government funded programs, having previously been Chief Executive of QRITC that delivered many innovative government funded projects including a one million dollar project for Expo 88, a Director of Strive Pty Ltd, General Manager of Tweed Training & Enterprise Company, and in between, a freelance business consultant. Pete is also trained in website maintenance (Dreamweaver & WordPress). He is qualified Cert4 TAA and is an accredited mentor with the State Government's Small Business Solutions Program.

Phil Hoffman

Chilli Pepper Media is owned and operated by Phil Hoffman BA (Hons). Mr Hoffman has over ten years of experience in web development and online system design.

Chilli Pepper Media commenced operations in 2002 and has built an enviable client base in the period since. A large proportion of the early clients still entrust Chilli Pepper with their online IT needs. The company boasts vast experience in LAMP development (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP), classic ASP, Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and .NET development. Chilli Pepper Media is GiTC accredited for modules including software development and Internet Consulting. Mr Hoffman is an experienced small group facilitator having conducted formal and informal training and coaching for small business owners and IT specialists.

A full program of integrated live and online learning strategies is being developed in a cooperative effort between Chilli Pepper Media's Phil Hoffman and the Chamber's Manager, Pete Baines, based on the requirements of this AusIndustry program.
